Why?

Since I discovered the excistence of Fractals in the early 1990's, I have constantly been fascinated by them because of the fact that mathematics (functions, iterations and complex numbers) can be used to create wonderful art. My first experiments with fractal software were in the mid-90's and rendering took ages (our first desktop had only 1MB RAM!). In 2024 I got into rendering again and you can see the results on this website

What Else?

Together with my wife I had a radio show on a local radio station in our home town from 1989 until 2015. It was called Kicks and our complete archive (and more) is online now. You can visit the blog for lots of content.

I have explored audio and music since 1991 in various projects (bands & solo). You can find all my work on the Insane Projects blog.

My family and me are very much into (medium and heavy) board games. You can read about our adventures in the Spelklooster blog. It's is in our native language 'Dutch' but it has a convenient translation button.
